Qualification,
Installation and Warranty:
Service not available in all
areas. Pre-qualification is done using sophisticated mapping software,
but this cannot guarantee service. A qualifying signal must actually
be achieved at your site upon installation. Clear line of site from
your rooftop to one of our towers within range is required for qualifying
signal. Obstructions such as mountains, trees and buildings will block
the signal and cause the install to fail.
WiFi-4-You retains ownership of
all equipment installed at all times, unless otherwise stated on your
installation work order. Any company equipment that fails due to
manufacturer / installation defect or natural causes (such as lightning)
will be repaired or replaced at no cost to you, for the entire duration of
your service.
Damage and Safety:
WiFi-4-You is in no way
responsible for damage to your structure or property that is directly or
indirectly caused by our equipment after the install is completed. For
example: A very strong wind storm could tear the mount for the
rooftop antenna out of your roof then fall onto your vehicle parked below,
causing damage to the roof and your vehicle. You would be
responsible for repairing your roof and vehicle, and we would only be
responsible for repairing or replacing our equipment.
WiFi-4-You would be responsible
for any structural damage that occurs during the installation process that
is deemed our fault. Example: (1) Our installation technician
accidentally breaks a window on your house with a ladder, or (2) our tech
drills into a water pipe or electrical line when installing the cable
through the wall. However, it is your responsibility to clear the
areas where we will be doing work of sensitive and fragile items prior to
the install - We are not going to replace your favorite coffee mug or
picture frame if it is accidentally knocked off your desk by our technician.
Repairs for damage to the
WiFi-4-You system that is caused by you or affiliated party will be billed
to you at a flat rate of $49 per hour plus parts and/or materials.
Placing equipment of this
nature on your structure does pose certain risks to your property and
personal being, roughly the same as putting up a TV antenna or satellite
dish. These risks mainly consist of wind and lightning damage, but
other incidents are possible as well. For example: We heard of
a telephone company in another state that was sued because their customer's
toddler crawled under a desk and was strangled by a company-installed
telephone cord. The court ruled that is was the home owner's
responsibility to child proof their home, not the telephone company's.
WiFi-4-You can never be held responsible for incidents like this. We
will always make every effort to keep our installs safe and tidy, but
accidents can still occur. All risks are solely yours to take.
Note - Never
attempt to repair any part of the WiFi-4-You system during a lightning
storm, inside or outside the structure. Failure to comply could result in
serious personal injury or death. We strongly recommend that you
unplug the power to the WiFi-4-You system and your computer(s) prior
to any electrical storm. You should also use a good surge protector, rated
at 1000 joules or higher (a $3 plug strip from Home Depot is NOT a surge
protector.) We also recommend that you have a licensed electrical contractor
verify proper grounding of your structure.
Radio Frequencies:
WiFi-4-You uses radio
transceivers that operate in the unlicensed bands of 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz and
5.8 GHz. All equipment is subject to and complies with Part 15 of the
FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) Devices may not cause harmful interference, and (2) devices must accept
any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired
operation.
While we will always do our best to
correct it, WiFi-4-You is never responsible for
service interruptions or poor performance due to RF interference.
WiFi-4-You Privacy Policy:
WiFi-4-You will never
give, sell, rent or leak any of your personal information to anyone or any
entity, period. We believe that is simply an unacceptable business
practice and we refuse to ever compromise our customers' security by doing
so. The only exception would be to comply with a legal investigation
being conducted by the local police, FBI, Homeland Security, etc.
Referral Incentives:
WiFi-4-You offers a
reward to any current customer of three months tenure or better, one free
month of their current speed plan, for referral of friends and neighbors,
and after the successful installation of our service.
(Simply said - Sign up a friend and get a free month!) There is
a limit of three referral rewards per calendar year and we must know of your
referral at the time of their installation.
